After graduating from college, I began working as a paraeducator in 2001 in Charlotte, Vermont. It was a great experience and led me to graduate school in 2003. That experience helped me realize I wanted to make teaching my life’s work. I received my teaching license from St. Michael’s College in Colchester, Vermont and began teaching at St. Francis Xavier School in 2004. I served as the principal at St Francis Xavier School from 2008-2016. I hold a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from St. Michael’s College.
I am originally from Massachusetts and was brought up on Boston sports. We moved to Florida to be closer to family and were blessed to move to St. Petersburg in 2016. Mrs. Zeoli was born in Philadelphia, PA, and raised in nearby southern New Jersey until her family moved to Florida when she was twelve years old. She says she feels much more like a “Florida Girl” than a “Jersey Girl”!

She received a Masters in Business Administration, and later her teaching degree from the University of South Florida. They began their family with their oldest daughter Nakota followed by Angelica and then Savannah. They built a log home in the small town of Princeville, Illinois, where Mrs. Wagner also taught. When she moved to Princeville, she was disappointed there was no catholic school, but was pleasantly surprised the majority of the teachers were catholic in this new district. A little trivia--she ended up being a teacher for one of her daughters three times.
She returned to Illinois State University to obtain her Masters degree in reading and writing as well as to gain documentation as a reading specialist and reading teacher. She continued schooling to pursue a doctorate degree in Curriculum and Instruction, but halted half way through due to ailing parents on both sides of her family. Mrs. Wagner and her husband moved to Florida in 2015. All three daughters were attending the University of Tampa and her husband had recently retired from the Peoria Fire Department after 33 years. Mrs. Wagner figured since she has taught at all levels from kindergarten through high school and being that she was born to be a teacher she would find happiness in this career anywhere—what did she have to lose? So, away they went. She said she landed in St. Petersburg, Florida, at the most amazing school ever and she looks forward to many more years of teaching
